Accident.

Damn. Bottom of the Hudson, a band on the same label as us, had a really bad accident near the end of an East Coast tour. The bassist was killed and the drummer is in stable condition after a skull fracture. According to a blurb on Pitchfork the bassist was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Donations can be made via this link if you are so inclined. Hospital bills and funeral services are not cheap.

This is really fucking sad and scary. I have such tour accident fears, you don't even know. That poor guy and his friends and family.

The one about the pen and the company ink.

I am continually surprised when I find out about co-workers of mine who have hooked up. It's practically epidemic at this point. Not boning a co-worker is suddenly the exception to the rule.

Maybe that is why this place is always so fucking tense. It's like the non-stop Walk of Shame.

Vitamin Poop

I am pretty sure that Vitamin Water has secret laxative ingredients in it. Especially the "Revive" formula:

I seriously cannot drink it without all food consumed prior to drinking being quickly evacuated from my body soon after. Does this happen to anyone else?

Note to bulimics: This is the beverage for you!

Hello Pranky

I came back from a week long vacation to two emails waiting for me at my job at Kink.com (NSFW link) - I was having my phone forwarded to the company directory so people only left messages with me if they dialed "O" for operator. One message was about renting space for an event and the other was this little gem:

Totally NSFW message from a customer expressing their desires to see different content on our sites.

At first I did not hear what seems to be supressed giggles in the background. But now I am about 98% sure this is a prank. Albeit a rather creative one. Ryan is convinced that at the very end, after about a second of silence, the caller says "I queefed!" before "she" hangs up. I say "she" because the caller also sounds like a teenaged boy.

Every once in awhile this job pays off in amusement.

Ex-Boyfriends on "Big Love" on HBO!!

Our label guy told us HBO was interested but I guess it was a sure thing. The song "It's Not Me It's You" from our first album Dear John was in the most recent episode of Big Love!!

It's now the most downloaded song for us on iTunes. Wow. This is sort of insane. I had to preserve this little moment of history for us.

Click here to buy the song off of iTunes!
